After meeting while working underground in the coal mines of West Virginia and getting married, Stan and Sue Jennings had to reevaluate their career choices after the mines closed in 1985. They took a leap, following their dreams and started making wooden kitchen utensils or “treenware” out of locally sourced hardwoods. Over 25 years later, with numerous awards to their name, Stan and Sue are known for a high quality of craftsmanship and dedication to sustainable practices. They are proud to be an American company that with all aspects of their craft made in the USA.
