James Cornell
Jim has been working with clay for over 40 years — designing and producing both functional work and art pottery. He is a juried member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, Piedmont, and Carolina Designer Craftsmen. He takes pleasure in the thought that his pieces will be enjoyed for many years by those who possess them. “Making pottery is a process, a journey, mostly controlled by the artist, but sometimes directed by the material itself. It is that interplay or dialogue between artist and material that still keeps the work interesting to me.”
